It is the policy of Smoky Mountain Center to comply with the North Carolina Rules for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services regarding the establishment of an area board Human Rights Committee. The Smoky Mountain Center Human Rights Committee is dedicated to ensuring the protection of the human rights, civil rights, and client rights of all mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse consumers who are served by Smoky Mountain Center and its Qualified Provider Community.
